Senior Engineer - Design

Job Summary

As a Senior Engineer at Gamuda, you will play a critical role in the transformative Upper Padas Hydroelectric Project (UPHEP), contributing to innovative energy solutions in Malaysia. This position is ideal for engineers eager to execute tasks on-site, make data-driven decisions, and collaborate with a dedicated team, all while enjoying the vibrant environment of Sabah. You will assist both the Assistant Manager and the Team Manager in their responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Execution Support: Assist in ensuring design integrity and technical compliance while carrying out assigned project tasks to keep UPHEP aligned with industry standards.
• Collaborative Assistance: Work closely with both the Assistant Manager and Team Manager to help achieve project objectives, supporting consultants, contractors, and various departments.
• Quality Monitoring: Contribute to monitoring and enhancing designs with attention to detail, fostering innovation within this renewable energy initiative.
• On-Site Task Management: Carry out assigned project phases, from planning through to troubleshooting, ensuring effective execution of the project’s vision.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in relevant civil projects.
