Job Summary

• Carry out the Delivery of Vacant Possession of newly completed property and ensure timely completion of the defects rectification works during the Defects Liability Period.
• To ensure service delivery in implementing all maintenance and improvement works and meeting the departmental service standard, i.e. · Timeliness in completing the tasks · Quality of work undertaken

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Township Executive in supervising and monitoring the performance of the contractors in attending to the defects rectification to ensure timely and satisfactory completion of the defects to the satisfaction of the purchasers.
• Carry out pre-delivery inspection on the newly completed property to identify defective works and implement remedial measures to minimize defects identified by purchasers during delivery of vacant possession.
• Assist the Township Executive in preparing the reports on defects list and their probable causes and contractor’s performance (quality of workmanship and timeliness) for management review.
• Carry out inspections on existing properties to identify defects and their causes and initiate remedial works to rectify the defects.
• Carry out inspections on the township facilities, structures, pavement, drainage, etc. and submit report on its condition and recommend remedial actions.
• To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company.
• Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.

Qualifications

Certificate in Building or Civil Engineering.
