The Role

Working closely with our Investment Director you will be responsible for driving our renewables investment and development initiatives in Australia. This role is pivotal in executing our energy sector strategy and via the origination, execution, and management of large-scale renewable energy projects. Key deliverables will include


•    Developing Investment Strategies including opportunity identification and potential acquisition in-line with Gamuda’s growth objectives and sustainability goals.
•    Conducting thorough assessment and due diligence on potential opportunities including financial feasibilities, technical and risk assessments. 
•    Structuring of investment deals and financial analysis.
•    Collaboration with key stakeholders including project developers and investors and internal engineering, legal and commercial teams.
•    Managing the investment governance process and compliance with regulatory requirements.


Your skills & experience

You will have a tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Engineering or a related field, post-graduate and professional qualifications would also be well-regarded. You will have relevant experience as a Manager, Senior Associate or similar in the renewable energy sector with exposure to development and construction projects including


•    Extensive understanding of renewable energy technologies including design and construction of solar PV and wind turbine systems, operations and grid integration.
•    Advanced financial modelling, analysis and evaluation skills.
•    Strong capability in identifying, quantifying and mitigating risks including market, regulatory and technical factors.
•    Proficiency with data analytics, AI and management reporting tools.
