Gamuda Engineering is a reputable Engineering and Construction contractor that specialises in the design, construction, operation and maintenance of Transport, Civil and Energy Infrastructure projects.

As part of Gamuda’s commitment to expansion, Gamuda Engineering has established offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane to pursue and deliver a variety of engineering and construction projects. We are currently delivering a range of major projects for Sydney Metro including Western Tunnelling Package and Stations Package Metro West; TfNSW including M1 Extension, Coffs Harbour Bypass and have recently commenced works on the Richmond Road to M7 project as well as a significant water project for Sydney Water.

In addition to our current projects in delivery we have been shortlisted for major infrastructure and energy projects across NSW, QLD, Victoria and New Zealand.

The Role

Working across our national portfolio you will work closely with our Chief Revenue Officer to identify strategic project opportunities for the business, successful positioning and planning our tendering and bid strategies and teams to support Gamuda’s growth initiatives. This will include:

• Responsibility for identifying opportunities that align with our strategic objectives.
• Building strong relationships with clients and key external stakeholders.
• Negotiating partnering arrangements with potential Joint Venture partners, consultants and supply chain.
• Developing winning bid campaigns and strategies.
• Driving strategic innovation, value engineering and best practice across our submissions.
• Collaborate closely with our Engineering and Construction teams to produce the best possible outcomes for the business.
• Managing and developing our Pre-contracts and Submissions teams.

Your skills & experience

You will ideally have Degree qualifications in Civil Engineering or similar and local or international experience working with major construction companies in both the successful winning and delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects. Your specific skills and experience will include:

• Successfully leading Pre-contracts and Bid Teams within the Australian infrastructure market.
• Have established relationships with key client stakeholders, contractors and design consultancies.
• The ability to think and plan strategically across a national portfolio of project opportunities.
• A track record of delivering innovation and efficiencies in Pre-contracts space
