Gamuda Engineering is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join the Sydney Stations Package West (SPW) team, playing a pivotal role in delivering one of Sydney's largest and most complex transport infrastructure projects.

This is an opportunity to lead the successful delivery of major station construction works on a nationally significant metro rail project, working alongside some of Australia's leading engineering and construction professionals.

About the Role

As Construction Manager you will provide strategic leadership across all construction activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

You will manage multidisciplinary delivery teams, subcontractors and key stakeholders while driving a high-performance culture focused on safety, collaboration and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all construction activities across major station works.
• Develop and implement construction methodologies and delivery strategies.
• Manage construction programmes to achieve critical project milestones.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality management systems.
• Drive productivity and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage subcontractor performance and commercial outcomes.
• Coordinate engineering, planning and construction teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Mentor and develop construction personnel, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

About You:

You will be a respected construction leader with extensive experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects.

You will ideally possess:

• Significant experience as a Construction Manager on major infrastructure or transport projects.
• Experience delivering metro station  or other major public infrastructure construction projects.
• Previous experience working for a Tier 1 or leading infrastructure contractor.
• Strong leadership capability managing large multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Sound commercial and contractual awareness.
• Proven ability to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
