Job Description: 

Gamuda Engineering is a reputable Engineering and Construction contractor that specialises in the design, construction, operation and maintenance of Transport, Civil and Energy Infrastructure projects. We are currently delivering the Sydney Metro West – Western Tunnelling Package, Sydney Metro – Stations Package West and in joint venture partnerships for both the $1.35B Coffs Harbour Bypass and the $1B M1 Motorway Extension Southern Package.

About the role

Based across our head office and tender offices, the Bid Coordinator will support the Submissions Manager by working closely with subject matter experts, project teams, and senior leadership. You will coordinate and manage all aspects of bid preparation and submission, ensuring proposals are delivered on time and effectively demonstrate our capability, experience, and innovative approach.

Specific activities will include:

  • Lead and manage the preparation, organization, and submission of tender documents, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Analyse tender documents and client requirements to define response strategy, structure, and key messaging.
  • Develop content including executive summaries, delivery methodology, capability statements, case studies, and standard responses.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, bid management, and technical teams to gather accurate and relevant information.
  • Coordinate bid timelines, submissions, and approvals, ensuring deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Maintain and manage a library of bid content, project examples, CVs, and all relevant documentation in document management systems.
  • Work with graphic designers to produce visually engaging and professional submissions.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal teams, clients, and contractors, coordinating meetings and clarifying requirements.
  • Review final bid documents for clarity, completeness, accuracy, and compliance before submission.
  • Identify opportunities to improve bid processes and contribute to continuous enhancement of bid methodologies.

 

 

Your skills and experience

You will be a detail-focused professional who thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments and is confident managing multiple priorities. You will bring:

 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, business, engineering, or a related field.
  • Exceptional grammar, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple submissions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with InDesign, Illustrator, or SharePoint will be highly regarded.
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to build strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
