The Role
We are seeking a BIM Coordinator to support the delivery of our Sydney Metro Stations Package West, ensuring coordinated, compliant, and high-quality digital information that enables safer, smarter, and more efficient project delivery. This will include:
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate project BIM models in line with project and contractual requirements
- Maintain digital engineering and BIM standards in accordance with Sydney Metro and ISO 19650 obligations
- Liaise confidently with internal teams, designers, subcontractors, and interface partners
- Resolve coordination, clash, and information management issues across disciplines
- Provide clear guidance to designers on digital deliverable standards and expectations
- Support evidence collection, audit readiness, and compliance for digital deliverables
- Assist in the development and refinement of BIM standards, workflows, and templates
- Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives across the project
Your Skills & Experience
You are a delivery-focused BIM professional who understands digital engineering as a tool for governance, coordination, and risk control. Your specific skills and experience will include:
- 3 - 5+ years’ experience in BIM / Digital Engineering on major infrastructure or complex building projects
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 19650, BIM standards, and data exchange formats (e.g. IFC)
- Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary models in complex project environments
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk AEC Collection and Revizto, including clash detection and model coordination
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- Experience with Dynamo, Python, or automation workflows is desirable
