About the role
DT Infrastructure, as part of the TasVic Greenlink joint venture with Samsung C&T Corporation Australia, has been awarded the contract to deliver the Balance of Works package for Marinus Link Stage 1.
With a strong pipeline of work in renewable energy projects, we are seeking a high-calibre Sustainability Advisor in VIC to join us on this once-in-a-generation project. You will work collaboratively with the project delivery team and assist with implementing the Sustainability Management Plan, as well as support subcontractors and suppliers in understanding sustainability requirements and reporting obligations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist in the Project’s implementation of the Sustainability Management Plan.
- Contribute to the delivery of Marinus Link’s v2.2 Infrastructure Sustainability Rating
- Ensure strategies are implemented to deliver a lower-carbon asset, prioritising community values and environmental protection.
- Advise on sustainability issues to key management stakeholders
- Support sustainability data collection & reporting as required.
- Respond to requests from clients, government & industry bodies, and internal stakeholders for sustainability case studies, news, and content.
- Proactively develop good news stories and case studies for internal and external use.
Experience and capabilities:
- Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sustainability or similar role.
- Demonstrated understanding of sustainability requirements and reporting obligations.
- Strong environmental and analytical capability, with experience in data analysis, project management, and sustainability reporting.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and deliver high-quality outcomes.
