We are are at the forefront of delivering critical infrastructure and renewable energy projects and are currently delivering a major utility-scale solar project in the NSW Upper Hunter Valley.
Due to an internal promotion we are looking for a highly skilled Electrical Superintendent to lead our electrical construction teams on the ground.

 

The Role


As the Electrical Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of this utility-scale solar project. Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, you will oversee all site-based electrical construction activities, ensuring they are completed safely, to a high-quality standard, and within the project schedule.
This is a Site-based position (DIDO) on a major renewable energy construction project with a rostered working arrangement (14/7), with accommodation and allowances provided as applicable.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Manage and coordinate all daily electrical construction activities, overseeing direct workforce teams and specialized subcontractors.
  • Drive the project schedule, ensuring milestones related to piling, array installation, cabling, inverter stations, and grid connection works are met.
  • Champion a culture of zero-harm. Ensure all site activities comply with strict Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards and statutory regulations.
  • Oversee the quality of electrical installations, ensuring compliance with EPC contract specifications and engineering designs.
  • Work closely with project engineers, site supervisors, grid connection authorities, and the broader project management team to resolve technical RFIs and site clashes.

 

 

About You

  • We are looking for a practical, solutions-focused leader with a strong track record in large-scale energy infrastructure.
  • You have proven experience as an Electrical Superintendent or Senior Supervisor on major construction projects.
  • Previous experience in the delivery of utility-scale solar farms is highly desirable. However, candidates with strong leadership experience on other large-scale renewable projects (such as wind farms) or heavy electrical infrastructure will also be highly regarded.
  • You hold a relevant Electrical Trade qualification/license and, ideally, possess relevant site supervision or management certifications.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and contractor management skills, with the ability to drive performance in remote or challenging environments.
