About the role
DT Infrastructure is seeking two experienced Supervisors to support delivery of works on the Mernda Stabling Yard Upgrade, valued at $17.3m. One role will specialise in Civil Works, and the other in Services delivery. Both Supervisors will play a critical role in coordinating site operations, leading crews and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard of quality.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for supervising day-to-day site activities, managing crews, plant and subcontractors, and ensuring works are completed in line with program, budget and compliance requirements. You will work collaboratively with project engineers, management and stakeholders to drive productivity while maintaining DT Infrastructure’s strong safety and performance culture.
These roles suit hands on Supervisors who thrive in a site based environment and bring strong technical knowledge within their specialist discipline.
Experience and capabilities
We are seeking Supervisors with solid experience in either Civil Works or Services, with the ability to demonstrate the following:
Civil Works Supervisor experience
- Proven supervision experience on civil and/or rail infrastructure projects
- Strong hands on experience across:
- CSR works
- Drainage
- Formation
- Piling
- Concrete and Reinforcement works
- Ability to coordinate crews, subcontractors, plant and materials to meet program requirements
- Sound understanding of construction sequencing, productivity and cost control
- Strong commitment to safety, quality and compliance standards
Services Supervisor experience
- Proven experience supervising services delivery on civil, rail or infrastructure projects
- Strong technical experience across:
- Service works
- Hydraulics
- Rail services
- Experience managing subcontractors, interfaces and service coordination
- Strong understanding of quality systems, inspections and compliance documentation
- Ability to plan, sequence and deliver services within a live construction environment
For both roles
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading site crews and contractors
- Strong knowledge of HSE, rail safety and legislative requirements
- Ability to plan works, allocate resources and prioritise tasks effectively
- Clear communication and leadership skills with a collaborative approach
- Strong problem solving capability and focus on delivery
- Alignment with DT Infrastructure values and commitment to high performance
