About the Role
The Site Engineer will provide on-site engineering support for construction projects, ensuring that work is carried out according to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. This role involves working closely with construction managers, subcontractors, and other project team members to manage construction activities, resolve technical issues, and ensure the successful completion of the project.
Key Responsibilities

Interpret and implement construction drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.

Set out the works on-site, ensuring accurate positioning and dimensions of structures and infrastructure.

Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions to construction challenges.

Manage and maintain construction records, including daily logs, progress reports, and quality control documentation.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in engineering or construction management are a plus (e.g., Engineer-in-Training (EIT), Construction Manager-in-Training (CMIT)).
- Minimum of 2 years engineering experience in the construction industry
- Project planning skills
- Demonstrable and successful experience in a business/project operations management role gained at a similar level
- Demonstrated ability in proactively building relationships with key stakeholders
