About the role

DT Infrastructure is seeking a motivated Site Engineer to join our growing Rail division.

Based in Brisbane, this role offers the opportunity to support the delivery of major rail infrastructure projects across Australia, with FIFO opportunities available depending on project requirements. Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll provide engineering, technical and quality support while coordinating construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Working closely with project managers, supervisors, subcontractors and clients, you'll play a key role in project planning, quality assurance, construction coordination and technical delivery across a diverse portfolio of upcoming rail projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to support safe, efficient and high-quality project delivery
• Monitor construction progress, prepare project reports and assist with planning, scheduling and forecasting
• Interpret engineering designs and provide technical support to project teams during construction
• Coordinate subcontractors, verify claims and variations, and support commercial and contractual requirements
• Assist with quality assurance processes, including ITPs, RFIs, lot management and compliance documentation
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and project stakeholders while supporting successful project outcomes

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and eligibility for membership with Engineers Australia
• Minimum two years' experience in construction, rail or major infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project planning and engineering principles
• Experience working with subcontractors, quality systems and project documentation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative approach
• A proactive and motivated engineer looking to build a long-term career in rail infrastructure
