Job Description: 

Gamuda Engineering is a reputable Engineering and Construction contractor that specialises in the design, construction, operation and maintenance of Transport, Civil and Energy Infrastructure projects.

With a proved track record in delivering innovative and complex infrastructure projects in Australia and internationally, Gamuda’s strategy is to invest in, develop and construct large-scale renewable energy projects with a focus on wind, solar and BESS developments and EPC projects.

We are currently mobilising our team to delivery one of Victoria’s most significant renewable energy projects in southwest Victoria, an integrated 450 MW solar and 600 MW BESS hybrid project.

 

The role

 

We are seeking a proactive and organised Site Administrator to provide essential support across office coordination and project administration. You will play a key role in supporting the project team, maintaining project systems and documentation, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the site office. This will include:

•    General office administration including coordination of cleaners, office defects, and day-to-day office issues.
•    Supporting site onboarding activities for staff and subcontractors. 
•    Processing financial records such as expenses, invoices, and purchase requisitions. 
•    Liaising with external suppliers to order office consumables, stationery, and other items such as PPE. 
•    Assisting with the preparation of monthly reports and agendas.
•    Supporting the project functional teams such as commercial, procurement and HSEQ, with administration support and records management.  
•    Supporting the project leadership team with management of calendars, booking meetings, managing correspondence and collating monthly expense claims as required. 

 

The role will be based on-site in western Victoria on a regular 5:2 roster.

 


Your skills and experience

 

You will be a well-organised individual comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Specific skills and experience will include:

  • Prior experience in an administrative role.
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with the team, the client and key stakeholders. 
  • Good knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
