Job Summary

The Paramedic is responsible for providing medical care and assistance, ensuring patient safety and a hygienic environment. This role involves assisting doctors with medical procedures and medication, conducting site health checks, maintaining patient data confidentiality, and ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. The Paramedic will be a key member of the clinic team, demonstrating proficiency in medical care and strong collaboration skills.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide medical care as deemed necessary and inform the Doctor-in-Charge, while also assisting the doctor with medical operations.
  • Assist the doctor with medication dispensary and stock-taking.
  • Perform site walks, hygiene checks, and medical surveillance programs at the site as requested by the doctor.
  • Provide the highest level of compassionate nursing care at all times.
  • Ensure patient safety and execute appropriate actions to create a safe environment.
  • Adhere to all established guidelines.
  • Attend all Continuing Medical Education (CME), training, and meetings organized by the clinic.
  • Ensure that patient data is protected at all times and that records are not released to any third party without prior consent from the Management and the patient, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
  • For all staff, any early leave (EL) or emergencies must be reported to the Head of Clinic or doctor immediately so that a suitable replacement can be arranged.
  • Contact the Head of Clinic to discuss any grievances or problems.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma in Nursing/ Medical Assistant/ Paramedic
  • Certification of Occupational Health Nurse is an additional advantage.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in a clinic, hospital, or on-site medical role, preferably within the construction or corporate healthcare sector.

Skills & Abilities

  • Competent first aider or Basic Life Support
  • Able to work independently.
  • Able to communicate effectively in local languages.
  • A team player who is able to multitask.
  • Meticulous with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
