Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

 

  • To lead QAQC team consist of QAQC Engineers.
  • To monitor and ensure implementation of QAQC processes at site via inspections as per Inspection & Test Plan (ITP), Surveillance checks, routine audits and documents reviews. 
  • Centrally coordinate, update and report status of QAQC implementation on site to QAQC Lead based on the outcome from inspections on-site.
  • To interface/ communicate/ attend meeting with trade package managers and trade package contractors as necessary/ required to ensure QAQC requirements/ processes are met
  • To investigate, assess and follow up with the respective trade package managers on mitigation plan/ method to tackle QAQC deficiencies at site
  • To review and approve issuance of Non-Conformance Report (NCR) raised by QAQC Engineer.
  • To recommend issuance of Stop Work Order to QAQC Lead.
  • To analyze trend of NCR and address the impact to the project based on level of risk. Also, to track, follow up and ensure closure on-time.
  • To work with QA engineers on compilation of data and statistical analysis.
  • Guide the QA/QC engineers as required on specific tasks such as assisting in routine checking of Risk registers and site implementation of required controls
  • Work closely with Client/ Client rep. and attend meetings as required.

 

Qualifications

  1. Min. Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical

Skills & Abilities

  1. Well verse with the QAQC requirements on installation and testing & commissioning of MEP equipment.
  2. Experience in Data Centre projects will be an advantage

Expected Minimum Years of Experience

  1. Min. 10 years of experience in construction industry with at least 3 years as Manager or Asst. Manager
