Job Description: 

Job Summary

Promote, monitor, enforce, advise and ensure continual safety & health implementation in compliance with legal, OSH Management System and organizational requirements.  

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist HOD SHE and monitor compliance of project execution activities in line with the company's safety standards, regulatory requirement, and client’s requirement.  
  2. Collating, analyzing and reporting of safety & health performance data and ensure the produce of Safety & Health Monthly Report to client.   
  3. Collect, analyze and maintain statistics on any accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning and occupational disease, which have occurred at the place of work.   
  4. To compile, prepare and maintain relevant safety & health documentation, performance data and statistics for the project.
  5. To conduct SHE trend analysis for all package contractors to ensure consistent and continual improvement in SHE.
  6. Maintain and update legal & other requirements register and monitor compliance.   
  7. To update the meeting deck related to SHE on regular basis for client’s progress meeting.
  8. To assist the team for documentation during external audit carried out by client and third-party auditor.    
  9. To monitor and follow-up with operational team on the SHE findings (NCR / SHE Inspection Report) issued by client and ensure all the findings are replied to client on time.  
  10. To follow up and update for any SHE letters correspondence with client.   
  11. To prepare the minutes for the department meeting chaired by HOD SHE and disseminate the minutes to all SHE department staff.
  12. Support in the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the SHE.  
  13. Assist in the establishment and maintenance of SHE software.
  14. Perform any other duties when assigned by the HOD SHE from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Possess at least Bachelor Degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering, SHE or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience relevant to the works preferably in construction.

Skills & Abilities

  • Familiar with local SHE legislation requirements and SHE Management System requirements. 
  • Excellent communication skills and proficient in English
  • Proactive and able to work under minimum supervision.
  • Focus on details , good in analysis and high level reporting 

Expected Minimum Years of Experience

  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience relevant to the works preferably in construction
