About the role
DT Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Senior Document Controller to join our Document Control team supporting the Smoky Creek & Guthrie's Gap Solar Power Station Project in Central Queensland.
This is an exciting opportunity for a locally based candidate looking to play a key role on a major renewable energy project close to home. As part of our broader Document Control function, you'll work alongside our project teams delivering efficient, high-quality document management solutions that support projects across the business.
Working closely with project delivery, engineering, commercial and quality teams, you will be responsible for managing project documentation, maintaining document control systems and ensuring accurate, compliant and timely information flows throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the registration, distribution, revision control and transmittal of all project documentation using electronic document management systems.
- Maintain document registers and ensure all project records are accurate, current and compliant with DT Infrastructure's Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Support engineering, commercial, procurement and project delivery teams by coordinating document workflows and ensuring contractual document requirements are met.
- Monitor compliance with document control procedures, standards and quality requirements while supporting audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare reports, track document status and provide timely communication to internal and external stakeholders throughout project delivery.
About you
- Previous experience in a Senior Document Controller or Document Controller role within construction, infrastructure, engineering or renewable energy projects.
- Certificate IV in Business Administration, Business qualification or equivalent experience in document control.
- Experience using electronic Document Management Systems and strong Microsoft Office skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
- A proactive, collaborative and self-motivated approach, with a strong commitment to quality, compliance and continuous improvement.
