About the Role

We have an opportunity for a Senior Contract Administrator to support our Ormeau project team and reporting to the Commercial Manager. In this role you will administer (Building) subcontract packages, prepare variations and extensions of time, monthly reporting and forecasting, assisting with the preparation of tenders and ensuring compliance with DT Infrastructure policies and procedures, stakeholder requirements and statutory regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the projects through efficient use of DT Infrastructure systems.
  • Provide high quality support in day-to-day commercial activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly project valuation reports.
  • Assist with the preparation of supplier and subcontractor agreements.
  • Identify and prepare variations and extensions of time.
  • Assist with monthly head contract progress claims.
  • Assist with the preparation of tenders.
  • Work proactively with the client on issues, collaborate on solutions and continuous improvement, provide regular reporting, and meet information sharing requirements.
  • Work in accordance with DT Infrastructure values and demonstrate commitment, active involvement and leadership regarding zero harm, client, people and financial accountabilities.

 

About You

  • Tertiary Qualification or diploma in Quantity Surveying or related discipline with at least 5 years contractor experience.
  • Experience in the construction industry as a Contracts Administrator or similar role within the Building sector.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills and ability in liaising and building relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Proven experience working effectively autonomously as well as within a team environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize workload as well working with Microsoft office and cost control systems.
