Job Description: 

Purpose of Job / Job Summary

As part of Group Information Services, reporting to Manager – Enterprise Solutions in the implementation of SAP S/4HANA for Gamuda group of companies. Undertake the Enterprise Solutions Specialist (SAP MM and SD) role to set up procurement, sub-contract and claim management process, order-to-cash process and integration with other SAP modules and other applications (i.e. SAP Ariba) for Gamuda group of companies. Delivered quality deliverables and adopt the best practices to ensure sustainability of the system.

 

Key Responsibilities / Duties 

  • Work closely with the system implementation partner and be responsible for the SAP MM and SD project rollout to meet business needs as outlined in the project business case.
  • Coordinate work activities with external implementation partners to execute and deploy the project into a live environment.
  • Provide functional and process expertise to effectively bridge system processes with business needs, focusing on master data, procurement, sub-contracting, claim management, purchase-on-behalf, workflow, inventory management, logistics invoice verification, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), order-to-cash, pricing, billing, credit management and other customized processes.
  • Manage SAP projects, including requirement gathering, feasibility studies, design, configuration, testing, user authorization matrix, data conversion, project cutover, post-go-live support, and documentation.
  • Support and manage integration with other SAP modules (e.g., PS and FICO) and other business applications (e.g., Analytics, SAP Ariba, Fiori, etc.).
  • Assist the Enterprise Solutions manager in building internal capabilities to maintain and support subsequent SAP MM and SD module rollouts across the group.
  • Handle daily support tickets received from the Gamuda Service Desk as part of post-go-live support, including issue investigation and resolution, change requests related to system enhancements, reports, interfaces, data conversion, forms, and workflow.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and the technical team.
  • Provide ad-hoc training and user support as needed.
  • To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company.
  • Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management

  • IT line managers for all IT associates involved in the selection, design, implementation, rollout and/or update of the SAP/business application

Person Specifications

 

Qualifications                                      :

 

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields

 

Experience                                           :    

  • At least 1-3 years of working experience in SAP implementation and/or support project.
  • At least 1 full cycle end-to-end implementation of SAP MM/SD module
  • Experience in ABAP technical is an advantage
  • SAP S/4HANA knowledge preferred
