About the role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our WA team working on upcoming renewables projects in the Pilbara region. The Quality Manager will lead and manage the project’s quality function to ensure all works are delivered in full compliance with contractual, statutory and regulatory requirements, while achieving best-practice construction and governance standards.
Working on a 2:1 roster FIFO to Karratha, this role is accountable for maintaining effective quality systems, driving a proactive quality culture, and ensuring robust assurance processes are consistently applied across all project and business support activities to enable successful, compliant and commercially sound project outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead all project quality assurance and control activities, ensuring contractual and regulatory compliance
- Establish, implement, and maintain the project Quality Management System and Quality Plans
- Manage audits, inspections, NCRs, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide expert quality advice and governance across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning
- Oversee quality documentation, reporting, and subcontractor quality performance
Experience and capabilities
- Proven experience managing quality systems on complex infrastructure or renewable energy projects
- Strong background in audits, inspections, and non-conformance management
- Demonstrated leadership in driving proactive quality culture and compliance
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar (preferred)
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification and inspector accreditation (preferred)
