About the role

DT Infrastructure is seeking an experienced a highly motivated Project Manager – System Integration to join our team in Perth. In this critical role, you will be the central point of contact for coordinating all HCS Alliance works with other Public Transport Authority (PTA) interfacing projects. You will lead impact assessments, ensure seamless integration of project scopes into the master schedule, and drive ongoing coordination across multiple disciplines. This role is specifically designed for a rising leader. We will support you in bridging the gap between engineering and comprehensive project management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Strategic Leadership: Act as the central point of contact between HCS and critical interfacing projects, managing scope, schedules, and cross-project impacts.
• Engineering & Commercial Integration: Lead impact assessments and translate technical realities into the Alliance’s commercial and engineering configuration change processes.
• Master Scheduling: Collaborate closely with the Planning team to maintain a highly accurate project schedule using MS Project and Primavera.
• Legacy Systems Management: Direct the scope, schedule, procurement, and resourcing for critical legacy system works.
• Governance & Quality: Own the narrative reporting for DTI’s Project Management, set up monitoring for progressive lot closure, and ensure seamless integration of multi-discipline activities.
• Safety Leadership: Champion a zero-tolerance approach to unsafe practices and drive best-practice HSE initiatives.

Experience and capabilities

• Background: A bachelor’s degree in engineering or project management. You are ideally eligible for or actively working towards your Engineers Australia Chartered Status (CPEng/RPEQ).
• Industry Experience: Proven experience in the end-to-end delivery of major infrastructure, rail, or multidisciplinary engineering projects. Familiarity with Australian rail standards (PTA WA, ARTC, NSW, MTM, QR) is highly regarded.
• Technical Edge: A strong technical foundation in CBTC signalling, railway communications, or railway control systems will set you apart.
• Tools & Skills: Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera, combined with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex technical data to make sound, project-level judgements.
• Leadership Potential: Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to confidently engage with internal teams, external contractors, and clients at all levels.
