About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Project Finance Services Manager to join our finance team in Brisbane CBD.

Reporting to the Head of Project Finance Services, you will be the driving force behind the day-to-day transactional operations of our projects. You will oversee a hybrid team of onshore and offshore Project Finance Administrators to ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient Purchase to Pay (P2P) workflows.

You will play a key role in maintaining compliance and governance across project finance administration, championing process best practices, and enabling accurate data capturing to support monthly reporting cycles.

As a people-focused leader, you will foster a collaborative, supportive, and results-driven culture, building strong relationships across internal project teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and manage the day-to-day delivery of high-quality P2P financial administration by the Project Finance Administrators.
  • Oversee ticket resolution, system workflows, vendor payment queries and ensure strict compliance with P2P processes.
  • Assist with month-end activities, including accruals and running essential project tracking reports.
  • Mentor, coach and develop the PFA team, including training, workload management and performance feedback.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in P2P processes, champion dashboards and reporting, and ensure projects meet financial governance standards.

About you

  • Certificate/Diploma in Finance, Business and/or Management (preferred).
  • 5+ years construction project administration experience in a large organisation.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in the Purchase to Pay (P2P) process, with strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred).
  • Proven ability to manage a hybrid (onshore and offshore) team, deliver training material and develop staff capability.
  • Results-oriented, service-focused and proactive, with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive consistent high performance.
  • Strong communicator with a collaborative, team-focused approach to resolving operational bottlenecks.
