Job Summary
Assist immediate superior in delegating works to subordinates, coordination of work with sub-contractors and monitor works for compliance with required specification standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily construction activities and ensure they align with project plans and schedules.
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Ensure the site is organized, safe, and compliant with all regulations.
- Supervise and direct construction workers, subcontractors, and other site personnel.
- Assign tasks, provide guidance, and ensure all team members understand their responsibilities.
- Conduct regular site meetings to discuss progress, issues, and safety concerns.
- Ensure all work is performed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with project specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and address any defects or issues promptly.
- Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations on-site.
- Conduct safety briefings and ensure all personnel are aware of safety protocols.
- Investigate and report any accidents or incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for on-site activities.
- Report daily progress, issues, and any potential delays to the Manager.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Manage and coordinate the delivery and use of materials, equipment, and tools.
- Ensure proper utilization of resources to minimize waste and control costs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records, including daily logs, inspection reports, and safety documentation.
- Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained and displayed.
- Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site.
- Implement solutions to keep the project on track and within budget.
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management.
Qualifications
Diploma in (Hon) Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
Skills & Abilities
- Basic computer Skills or equivalents.

Willing to learn, able to work independently, interested in site construction works, able to work extended hours.
Expected Minimum Years of Experience
Minimum 2-3 years of experience.
