Job Summary

In this role, you will play a critical part in overseeing the master schedule and ensuring the successful delivery of complex, fast-paced, large-scale data center project. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Primavera P6, a strong understanding of fast-track construction methodologies, and specialised knowledge of data center infrastructure. 

Key Responsibilities

1. Schedule Development & Baseline Management

● Develop, maintain, and update the detailed project program using Primavera P6.

● Establish the performance measurement baseline and logic ties, ensuring full alignment with contractual milestones and key deliverables.

● Integrate subcontractor and vendor schedules into the master Primavera P6 schedule, validating logic, durations, and resource loading.

2. Progress Monitoring & Reporting

● Track daily, weekly, and monthly project progress against the approved baseline utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.

● Conduct regular site walkthroughs and interface with site engineers and subcontractors to verify physical progress.

● Prepare comprehensive progress reports, S-curves, histograms, and dashboard presentations for internal leadership and client stakeholders.

3. Critical Path, Productivity & Delay Analysis

● Perform rigorous Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis, including detailed evaluation of manhours and productivity metrics, to identify potential schedule slippages, bottlenecks, and long-lead procurement risks.

● Conduct Time Impact Analysis (TIA) to evaluate the impact of change orders, variations, and delays, providing substantiated data for extension of time (EOT) claims.

● Collaborate closely with the project team to develop and implement mitigation programs, recovery schedules, and acceleration strategies when variances occur.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration & Coordination 

● Facilitate weekly scheduling coordination meetings with internal project teams, subcontractors, and clients to align on short-term look-ahead schedules.

● Interface seamlessly with procurement and commissioning teams to ensure equipment delivery and testing sequences are accurately synchronized within P6. 

  • To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company.
  • Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.

Qualifications

● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.

● Technical Proficiency: * Expert-level mastery of Primavera P6 (mandatory), including advanced logic links, resource loading, filtering, and layout customisation. ○ Familiarity with data visualization tools is a significant plus.

● Certifications: PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly desirable.

● Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently present schedule updates, risk analyses, and mitigation programs to high-level stakeholders.

● Resilience & Agility: Proven capability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with evolving priorities and tight deadlines. 

Expected Minimum Years of Experience

Minimum of 7–12 years of planning and scheduling experience in large-scale commercial or industrial construction (data center experience highly preferred).
