Job Summary
Responsible for the overall leave and payroll administration of the Company.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly payroll for Gamuda Group of Companies employees.
- To maintain and monitor the leave, payroll and long service information database, and to ensure that the record is updated regularly.
- Timely submission of statutories.
- Establish and maintain and effective payroll record system for all levels of staff.
- To administer leave and payroll files and records, and to ensure proper upkeeping and maintaining of these records at all times.
- Ensure that all staff's personal payroll records including banking information are in the payroll system.
- Ensures day-to-day payroll related matters are carried out systematically and meticulously.
- Provide day-to-day payroll support and advise to employees pertaining to payroll, leave and tax related matters.
- Compile payroll related information for payroll processing and generate relevant payroll reports according to the timeline.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Business Admininstration, Human Resources or other related field required.
- Able to work independently in a fast-faced environment, organised and able to multi-task.
- Strong analytical, meticulous and problem-solving skills.
Skills & Abilities
- Extensive knowledge in EPF, SOCSO and IRD regulations along with the payroll functions including preparation, balancing, internal control and payroll taxes
- Experience with SAP Payroll Processing & System Knowledge is an advantage.
- Good HR processes knowledge.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Good communication skills, both spoken and written in English.
Expected Minimum Years of Experience
Minimum 2 years of relevant payroll, experience in Engineering & Construction industry is preferred.
