Job Summary
To carry out daily purchasing related activities including source and negotiate with supplier, ensure materials are deliver on time, correctly and cost effective. Make sure all purchasing activities are compliance with company policy and procedure requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct sourcing activities
- Coordinate, prepare and analysis bids and awards
- Liaison with supplier & contractor
- Perform purchasing activities (Eg: Order processing, expediting delivery, delivery update)
- Maintain and update supplier database
- Market research
- Prepare weekly/monthly CMP reports
- Administrative functions (Eg: Filing, data entry, printing reports etc)
- To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company.
- Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess a at least a Diploma, preferably Degree in Finance, Business Studies or equivalent with good academic result
Skills & Abilities
- Basic computer knowledge
- Effective Negotiation Skills
- Result oriented. Good communication and interpersonal skill
- Knowledge on SAP Ariba & S4Hana is an added advantage
Expected Minimum Years of Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or related experience.
- Willing to relocate from time to time depending on the job requirements.
