Job Summary

Handle Gamuda Group and Associated Companies/Projects’ Communications, Branding and Partnerships (internal and external).

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support implementing strategic communications, brand and corporate partnerships activities within the Gamuda Group Communications & Sustainability ecosystem.
  2. Assist in content development and generation for internal and external stakeholder consumption across various media channels, including social media and above/below the line.
  3. Media monitoring and reporting/analysis of relevant news/social media chatters about the organisation and/or industry.
  4. Support the team for crisis communication and PR campaign reporting and management.
  5. Support the team in planning and executing various events, conferences, exhibitions, town halls, webinars, etc. (on physical and virtual platforms to meet objectives).
  6. Internal change communication management and strategy, including content and art direction planning, execution and campaign analysis (competition, awareness programme, educational programme, videos, etc.).
  7. To manage the Group’s Digital Archiving System and ensure that all Group’s digital assets [images, videos, documents, files, etc.] are updated and filed accurately.
  8. Assist in media relations and other related assignments when required.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Arts - Mass Communications / Communications / Media Communication / Public Relations

Skills & Abilities

  1. Clear and concise communication skills, proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  2. Good writing skills, primarily in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  3. Good grasp of numbers and basic calculation. 
  4. Knowledge  of social media landscape and management.
  5. Adequate stakeholder management skills to establish, build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relations.  
  6. Ability to work laterally across different business units and geographical locations, and vertically across all staff levels. 
  7. Good research, organisational and time management skills.
  8. Excellent Microsoft Office skills.  
  9. Resourceful, detail-oriented and proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Expected Minimum Years of Experience

One to two years of experience in public relations, marketing communications, corporate communications, branding or content writing roles.
