Engineer - Mechanical & Electrical

Job Summary

A motivated and detail-oriented M&E Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and a passion for design and project management within the construction industry. The successful candidate will support the planning, coordination, and execution of M&E works, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design Coordination:

• Assist in the design and review of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulations.
• Work closely with consultants, architects, contractors and suppliers to develop and refine M&E design plans.

Project Management:

• Support the planning, scheduling, and execution of M&E works across various project phases.
• Monitor project progress and provide updates to the project team and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Technical Support:

• Conduct site inspections to ensure M&E works adhere to design specifications and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve technical issues in collaboration with the project team.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation for project deliverables as necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a local or overseas tertiary institution recognized by Board of Engineers Malaysia.

Skills & Abilities

• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in construction projects.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and project management tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Expected Minimum Years of Experience

• Fresh graduate or 1-2 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
