Job Summary

The role is responsible for overseeing the governance of financial data within an Gamuda Group. This position ensures that financial data is managed according to best practices and regulatory requirements, with a particular focus on maintaining data integrity, quality, and security of Gamuda’s SAP S/4HANA ERP environment. By safeguarding this critical information, we enable efficient business processes, enhance decision-making, support the organization’s strategic objectives, and provide a strong foundation for analytics. This ensures that data-driven insights and strategies are based on accurate and reliable information.


The role also involves implementing and managing Segregation of Duties (SOD) controls to mitigate risks related to fraud and conflicts of interest in financial processes. This includes developing policies, monitoring compliance, and collaborating with various departments to ensure that financial operations are secure and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

A. Data Management Role Overview:
Data Management role is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and governance of master data within the SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) and MM (Materials Management) modules. This role involves collaborating with various business units to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity, as well as supporting data-related processes and system configurations.

B. SAP Segregation of Duties (SOD) Compliance Role Overview:
The SAP SOD Compliance role is responsible for ensuring that the organization’s SAP environment adheres to Segregation of Duties (SOD) principles. This role involves monitoring, analyzing, and mitigating SOD conflicts within the SAP system to maintain regulatory compliance and safeguard against fraud or unauthorized access. Also working closely with internal audit teams, SAP security administrators, and business units to enforce compliance and support internal controls.

C. SAP ERP Rollouts Support Role Overview:
The SAP ERP Implementation support role plays a critical role in the successful deployment and maintenance of SAP ERP systems within the Gamuda Group. This role involves providing support throughout the implementation lifecycle, including business process blueprinting, user training, issue resolution, and post-go-live support. The role will collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and end-users to ensure the ERP system meets business requirements and operates efficiently.

D. Others:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology or related fields are strongly preferred
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment

Skills & Abilities

  • Expertise in financial data management, governance, and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of master data domains (Customer, Vendor, Fixed Asset, Bank, General Ledger)
  • Proficiency in SAP ERP environment is a plus
  • Strong understanding of SOD principles and risk management practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Independent, detail-conscious, self-motivated, organized, and results oriented individual capable of handling multiple tasks and achieving tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and management skills. Fast learner, flexible and able to work on multiple tasks with proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Expected Minimum Years of Experience

  • Years of Experience: Typically 5-10 years of relevant experience in finance, data governance, or risk management roles.
  • Relevant Roles: Experience in roles related Finance&Accounting, Data Governance Analysis, Risk Management, or Internal Audit is valuable.
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated experience in a leadership or team lead role, particularly in finance or data governance
