About the role

Are you looking to kick-start your career in administration within a fast-paced, project-driven environment? The High Capacity Signalling Alliance (HCSA) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Administrator to join the team delivering one of Perth’s most significant rail infrastructure upgrades.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working alongside industry professionals on a high-profile project, with ongoing training and career development support.

As a Trainee Administrator, you will play a key support role across the project team, assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks and gaining exposure to project operations, document control, and stakeholder coordination.

This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their career who is eager to learn, develop practical skills, and build a foundation in a large-scale engineering environment.

Experience and capabilities

• Completion of Year 12 or equivalent
• Currently undertaking or willingness to undertake a traineeship (desirable, not essential)
• Previous experience in reception, customer service, or office support (desirable) or experience in a busy office environment (advantageous)
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a professional and friendly approach
• Ability to build positive relationships with staff, visitors, and external stakeholders
• Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
