The Opportunity:

DT Infrastructure, a leading Australian provider of engineering and construction services, and Alstom, global leader in smart sustainable mobility solutions, have been awarded an AUD$1.6B contract by the Public Transport Authority of Western Australia (PTA) for the design, supply, construction, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of high capacity signalling technology for Perth’s suburban rail network.

 

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in Perth WA. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive systems engineering and assurance services across the entire system engineering life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve project milestones within schedule.
  • Conduct activities per ISO/IEEE standards.
  • Manage DOORS and requirements throughout the project.
  • Perform verification and validation.
  • Participate in assurance gate submissions.
  • Contribute to design reviews, workshops, and site installations.
  • Deliver high-quality engineering services on time.
  • Liaise with customers, end-users, subcontractors, and suppliers.

About You:

  • Degree in relevant engineering field or equivalent experience.
  • Practical experience in rail systems engineering phases.
  • Skilled in requirements development and management.
  • Experience in integration, verification, validation, and qualification.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Team-focused, motivated, and self-driven.
