About the role

DT Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex rail infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee project planning, execution and performance, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to client expectations. 

Working closely with clients, stakeholders and project teams, you will drive strong commercial outcomes, foster lasting relationships and provide leadership that promotes safety, collaboration and continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven project leader looking to make a significant impact within a growing rail business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution and delivery of rail infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and budget objectives are achieved.
• Manage project commercial performance, including forecasting, budgeting, contract administration, claims and risk management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and support to project teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Drive compliance with safety, environmental and quality management systems.
• Monitor project performance and implement strategies to achieve delivery outcomes.
• Prepare and review project plans, reports, budgets and commercial documentation.
• Ensure all project activities comply with contractual, regulatory and rail industry requirements.
• Champion DT Infrastructure's values through strong leadership, accountability and collaboration.

About you

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Proven experience managing complex infrastructure, rail or construction projects in a senior project management role.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing project budgets, forecasting, contracts and risk.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and develop high-performing project teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
• Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Sound understanding of safety, quality and environmental management within a project environment.
• Effective negotiation, communication and influencing skills across all levels of an organisation.
• Results-driven with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and delivering successful project outcomes.
