About the role:
We are seeking a People Services (HR) Coordinator to provide centralised administrative support, ensuring efficient management of HR processes such as position management, onboarding/offboarding, and employee records maintenance.
The People Services Coordinator plays a key role in supporting compliance with HR policies and Fairwork legislative requirements. This role also contributes to maintaining a clean data environment, providing accurate reporting, and coordinates with HR Stakeholders to assist in tasks and special projects, all while upholding DTI’s values and ensuring high standards of service delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Strong management of data in HRIS System (SAP Success Factors), including position management, recruitment requisitions and employee information.
- Management of employee changes in system, as well as generation of letters in line with company standards.
- Ensuring appropriate governance controls over employment conditions and changes (promotions, transfers etc).
- Reporting and data analytics.
- Administration of company policies and benefits, including reward & recognition, services awards and parental leave.
- Management of visa sponsorships and relocations (domestic and international).
Preferred experience/qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Human Resources OR relevant tertiary education.
- Previous experience in either HR administration/coordinator.
- Experience with HRIS and other HR software is highly desirable including troubleshooting and managing system related issues.
- Good understanding of HR legislation, including the Fair Work Act, visa regulations and award-based requirements.
- Good verbal and written communications skills to effectively liaise with internal teams as well as external stakeholders.
