About the role

We are seeking a Digital Engineer to support the delivery of major infrastructure projects by driving digital engineering outcomes across design and construction phases.

Working closely with the Digital Engineering Manager and project teams, you will ensure that BIM, CAD, GIS, and asset data are integrated, compliant, and aligned with both client requirements and industry standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and collaborative professional to contribute to high-profile projects while advancing digital engineering capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of Digital Engineering outputs in line with ISO 19650 and project requirements
  • Assist with modelling, model coordination, and clash detection across project phases
  • Coordinate federated models across disciplines and ensure alignment with design and construction objectives
  • Maintain model management strategies, data workflows, and Common Data Environment (CDE) structures
  • Facilitate and contribute to design coordination and VDC sessions
  • Provide technical support and guidance across BIM tools including Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
  • Assist in monitoring DE deliverables and ensuring compliance with client and government standards
  • Generate progress reports and model tracking outputs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across design, project management, and construction teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a Digital Engineering, BIM, or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of BIM principles and standards, including ISO 19650
  • Advanced experience with Navisworks and at least one BIM authoring tool (e.g. Revit)Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Experience using Civil3D or 12D (desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience within construction, infrastructure, or engineering project environments
