Job Summary

  • Respond to calls for emergency medical assistance, such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) or bandaging a wound. Assess a patient's condition and determine a course of treatment. Provide first - aid treatment or life support care to sick or injured patients.
  • Able to work with multiple departments by performing On Job training related to First Aid treatment & other emergency procedure related to scope of medical at the workplace. Able to work in high pace environment and equip with professionalism

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead emergency medical interventions by providing prompt and effective treatment, including diagnosis and necessary first aid or life support to injured or ill individuals within the premises.
  • Manage and oversee the First Aid Team and facilities, ensuring the First Aid Room is well-equipped, clean, and complies with all relevant safety and health standards.
  • Coordinate the safe transportation of employees or guests requiring hospital care while continuing medical supervision during transit.
  • Maintain all medical equipment in optimal condition, scheduling routine checks and maintenance to guarantee readiness in all situations.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols as per MOH and DOSH guidelines, including personal protective equipment (PPE) usage to prevent infection transmission during patient assessment and treatment.
  • Prepare timely and accurate medical reports documenting any injury or treatment incidents occurring on-site to assist in compliance and continuous improvement of safety practices.
  • Provide detailed statistical data on medical incidents and treatments on a monthly basis or as requested by the Head of Department to support strategic decision-making.
  • Deliver comprehensive training sessions on CPR, emergency rescue procedures, and first aid to all employees, enhancing the overall emergency preparedness of the organization.
  • Participate as a vital member of the Emergency Response Team, contributing medical expertise and leadership during crisis situations.
  • Prioritize care by assessing and managing multiple casualties effectively, focusing first on those with life-threatening conditions and ensuring appropriate arrangements for further medical attention.
  • Maintain high standards of guest service by communicating clearly and courteously while addressing medical emergencies, ensuring guests feel safe and supported.
  • Exemplify leadership qualities by motivating and guiding team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and excellence in guest service and safety.
  • Monitor and enforce rigorous sanitation and cleanliness protocols within the medical unit and adjacent areas to uphold health standards as per Splash Mania Gamuda Cove policies.
  • Promote a safe and efficient work environment by identifying hazards, reporting safety concerns promptly, and re-training team members on safety procedures as needed.
  • Adapt to working in diverse conditions, including indoor and outdoor environments, managing the physical demands of variable weather and operational tempo.
  • Adhere to all company policies regarding wardrobe, grooming, and professional conduct, ensuring a presentable and professional appearance at all times.
  • Comply fully with company requirements on Quality, Safety & Health, and Environmental standards relevant to the job scope and workplace safety regulations.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the organization's goals.

Qualifications

Applicants should ideally hold a Diploma in Nursing complemented by a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) issued by the Nursing Board, reflecting the necessary clinical competence and regulatory compliance.

Additional certifications in emergency medical response, Basic Life Support (BLS), or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are highly advantageous and will support superior performance in this role.

Experience within a fast-paced healthcare or hospitality setting will be beneficial, providing familiarity with high-pressure environments and a strong foundation in patient care protocols.

Expected Minimum Years of Experience

Experience in emergency medical response or paramedic duties within similar workplace settings is highly preferred, as it equips candidates with the resilience and technical skills necessary for effective performance.

Demonstrated history of contributing to workplace health and safety initiatives and delivering training or educational programs related to first aid or emergency care will be considered an asset.
