About the role


We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic
Safety Advisors interested in joining DT Infrastructure to support our existing and upcoming projects in the North West of WA.
This role is a full-time position where you will be working on a 9:5 (9 days on/5 days off) FIFO Roster, flying from Perth to Paraburdoo.


This position if permanent night-shift  for the duration of the project, working 6pm to 6am.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Support operations to execute DTI and client HSE initiatives.
  • Effective implementation of DTI HSE policy, procedures & standards through training, coaching and regular communication.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and assist with solution development and implementation.
  • Coach and support local managers to develop and review HSE management plans and risk registers, consistent with site/project needs.
  • Coach operational teams with sub-contractor management requirements including review of SWMS, ATWPs, completion of DTI and site inductions, participation in pre-starts, conduct of daily plant check sheets and compliance with HSEMPs.
  • Collaborate with management and staff to promote a positive health and safety culture.

About You

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Health and Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field.
  • Experience in a similar role within the Tier 1 construction industry, preferably with WA resource clients.
  • Experience working on asphalt / airpport strip projects highly desirable. 
  • Able to evaluate information quickly, identifying key issues and formulate conclusions based on sound, practical judgement, experience and common sense.
  • Ability to work under broad direction, exercise initiative and be innovative in the approach to problem solving.
  • Eligibility for ASIC clearance.
  • Lead ICAM Incident Investigation or similar require
