The Role

Reporting to the Construction Manager you will be responsible for the mechanical and piling scopes of work on the Goulburn River Solar farm in the NSW Upper Hunter Valley.
This site based position will work a 14/7 Roster and attract an uplift, accommodation and meals whilst on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the mechanical and piling schedules
  • Coordinate with civil and electrical teams to ensure smooth integration of mechanical systems
  • Review mechanical drawings, specifications and plans
  • Oversee installation of piling and mechanical components, including panel mounting structures,panel racking systems & mechanical connections and supports
  • Manage mechanical subcontractors and crews
  • Manage productivity and resolve any issues
  • Ensure Quality, safely and environmental standards are met
  • Provide daily progress reports

About You

  • Extensive experience in the delivery of Piling and Mechanical Installations on Solar construction projects
  • Management of large workforces
  • Well developed interpersonal skills
  • Ability to understand technical specifications & drawings
  • Able to evaluate information, identifying key issues & formulate practical judgement
