The Opportunity
Reporting to the PD the Project Manager, Electrical will ensuring safe, efficient and compliant delivery of the electrical scope on this significant Solar farm. This is a site-based position on a major renewable energy construction project in the Upper Hunter Valley, with a rostered working arrangement (14/7), with accommodation and allowances provided as applicable.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop detailed electrical plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure electrical designs meet Australian standards
• Coordinate subcontractors, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to timelines
• Ensure adherence to Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations,
• Monitor installation quality, conduct inspections, and ensure systems meet performance benchmarks
• Oversee system testing, performance verification, and documentation for project completion and operational transition.
About You
• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Project Management or similar
• Proven successful Project Management experience.
• Computer literate in programs including Expert, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
• Well-developed planning and programming skills.
• Financial analysis and management skills.
• The ability to work autonomously with no supervision.
