About the role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced HR/IR Advisor to join the delivery team on the Goulburn River Solar Project. This position is based on the Goulburn River Solar Farm (GRSF) project, on a 14 days on/7 days off roster with accommodation and allowances provided as applicable.
The People and Capability Advisor on GRSF project provides support to the HR/IR Manager, with day to day workforce operations across the project site. This will include;
- Provide frontline HR support to DTI employees, escalating issues to the HR/IR Manager.
- Assist with union ROEs for the site and maintain the IR Risk Register for GRSF.
- Assist with workforce reporting, including tracking of site headcount, turnover and recruitment.
- Onboarding & Offboarding of project personnel.
- Coordination of camp operations and liaison with the camp operator including roster management, coordinating room bookings, coordinating arrivals/departures for all site based DTI employees and sub-contractors.
- Workforce logistics coordination including liaising with Site Security and Transport providers to ensure effective DIDO operations.
- Managing the social impact reporting and supporting wellbeing and engagement initiatives.
Preferred experience/qualifications
- Bachelor of Human Resources and/ or Business
- Demonstrable and successful ‘hands on' experience in a related human resources management / Advisor role operating as an effective HR professional and being viewed as a credible, trusted Advisor; leader.
- Knowledge and a sound understanding of contemporary HR management and workplace relations
- Demonstrated ability to proactively build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders/clients to support delivery and create business value
- Demonstrates ability to build and maintain a wide knowledge and understanding of the business environment and strategies; translating these into specific HR tactics and actions
- Conduct investigations with best practice processes
- Take accountability for own actions; address commitments with decisiveness, responsibility and appropriate level of efficiency and reliability
- Ability to build relationships with key internal stakeholders/clients/team members to support delivery and create business value
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
