About the Role:

We’re looking for a People and Capability Advisor to join our team in Ormeau, Queensland. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our workforce, driving capability development, and ensuring our people have the tools they need to succeed.

As a People and Capability Advisor, you will be responsible for:

• Partnering with leaders to provide HR advice and support on policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Managing workplace development programs, including training, career pathways, and talent development.
• Supporting workforce planning and capability-building initiatives.
• Facilitating learning and development programs to enhance skills and performance.
• Leading employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.
• Ensuring compliance with HR policies, EBA agreements, and employment legislation.

What You'll Bring:

• Knowledge and understanding of contemporary HR & workplace relations, ideally with experience in construction, infrastructure, or a similar industry.
• Knowledge of workforce development, training programs, and capability-building initiatives (preferred but not essential).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
• Good understanding of employment laws, industrial relations, and HR best practices.
