The Role

 

The position will be based at Milton and also required to work across our project sites where you will be charged with leading and coordinating strategic communications and stakeholder engagement across our QLD projects. Reporting to the Project/ Delivery Director you will manage client expectations, community engagement obligations whilst balancing both government and private sector requirements.

 

Typical responsibilities include, but not limited to

Develop and implement project-specific communications and engagement strategies in alignment with broader corporate and client requirements.
Coordinate and maintain strategic communication plans, management plans, risk registers, and stakeholder maps for Queensland operations. 
Ensure alignment with state government stakeholder protocols and private client branding expectations
Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies, councils, landholders, First Nations communities, and community interest groups.
Coordinate public and stakeholder consultation activities, including briefings, information sessions, and community events.
Support project teams with internal communications, toolbox content, and staff updates.
Represent DT Infrastructure at industry forums and regional engagement activities.
Prepare regular reports and updates for key stakeholders on engagement activities and communication 

About You

Bachelor’s degree or qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
Demonstrated experience coordinating or working with geographically dispersed teams.
Experience working with or within project-based environments, including understanding of client reporting obligations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
Confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including government clients.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities across a portfolio of work.
Familiarity with brand management, content production, and community engagement
A strategic mindset paired with hands-on delivery capability
