Job Summary
The Technician - Building Maintenance, Administrative Services is responsible for performing essential hands-on maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across various building systems and infrastructure within the company's premises. This role ensures the optimal functionality, safety, and aesthetic appeal of facilities, directly supporting a productive work environment for all employees. The Technician will contribute to preventive maintenance programs, respond to service requests, and uphold high standards of operational excellence and compliance within the administrative services framework.
Key Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance (PM), and corrective repairs on a variety of building elements, including carpentry (e.g., doors, windows, furniture), painting, plastering, and general handyman tasks.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, diagnosing issues and implementing timely solutions or escalating complex problems to senior technicians/management.

Conduct basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on mechanical systems such as HVAC units (e.g., filter changes, coil cleaning), pumps, and plumbing fixtures (e.g., leaks, clogs). Perform basic electrical tasks, including changing light bulbs, troubleshooting outlets/switches, and minor wiring repairs.
Qualifications

Technical Diploma or Certificate in a relevant skilled trade (e.g., HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Building Maintenance) or Facilities Management.

Proven experience in building maintenance or a related technical role.

Strong understanding of basic building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and general maintenance practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
