We are excited to present a fantastic opportunity in Sydney, NSW, for our Warringah Freeway Upgrade project. We are seeking a supervisor who will be responsible for coordinating and supervising team members and equipment, in terms of time, cost, and quality. Key Responsibilities

 

  • Delivery of contractual requirements of work crews within agreed budgets 
  • Arrangement of project logistics
  • Site supervision in terms of quality, timeliness and compliance
  • Efficient organisation and supervision of people, plant and machinery resources
  • Planning works and arranging resources and material required for jobs
  • Ensure all works carried out are in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Provide and maintain high quality of service in all areas
  • Prioritise works, program schedules and supervise works
  • Engage quality contractors and suppliers at the best possible price and standard
  • Liaise with senior Management to ensure all activities/schedules are adhered to

Qualifications

 

  • Must have experience working on civil Engineering experience working on major road projects
  • Must have supervised a team to a high standard
  • Commitment to the environment, quality and safety
  • Outcome focused and thorough understanding of the factors affecting product and result
  • Well-developed people management skills
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer focus ensuring profitable repeat business
  • Organising and planning skills
  • Cost control and budgeting skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the rail industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of quality systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Internet and Email
