The Role

DT Infrastructure has been appointed to the Sydney Trains MSA panel to be involved in the delivery of its maintenance and major works contract framework. This program is initially set up for 4 years with potential extension to 7 years.
Reporting to the  SPE/PE you are a Site Engineer with experience working in a brownfield rail environment.
With wave 1 & wave 2 due to be released mid 2026 we are looking to bolster the current team in North Sydney.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure that the project is delivered in accordance with time, budget and quality requirements
  • Effectively manage and monitor construction performance and progress  
  • Preparation of progress and compliance reporting 
  • Execute a working knowledge of contractual and legislation relevant to the project 
  • Utilise QA/QC software for Lot management and instigate / collect / verify / validate conformance artefacts  
  • Non-conformances (NCR’s) are raised & corrected within prescribed timeframes 
  • Requests for information (RFI’s) are closed within prescribed timeframes 
  • Prepare accurate and timely narrative monthly reports that contain movements and progress. 

 

 

About You

  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years engineering experience in the civil construction industry (Rail ideal)
  • Project planning skills 
  • Demonstrable and successful experience in a business/project operations management role gained at a similar level 
  • Demonstrated ability in proactively building relationships with key stakeholders
  • High levels of verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate with a wide variety of people 
  • Communicates honestly, openly and consistently.
