The Opportunity:
DT Infrastructure have landed a significant Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) project opportunity in Regional NSW. We are looking to solidifying our position as the key installer of ITS infrastructure and build on the ITS delivery experience we’ve developed across NSW.
We are seeking a proactive and detail-focused Quality Coordinator to join our team on the Coffs Harbour Bypass Project. Based in North Sydney, this role involves occasional travel to site and is critical in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, timely, and accurate Acceptance Reports, Provisional Acceptance (PA), and Final Acceptance (FA) in alignment with the project schedule and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to resolve NCRs and Defect Notices, ensuring compliance with acceptance requirements.
- Maintain and manage Verification and Validation data aligned with project specifications, subcontractor requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with project staff and stakeholders to ensure alignment with quality requirements.
- Contribute to ongoing reviews of project delivery and quality processes to support continuous improvement.
About You:
- A degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical) or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems in regulated heavy engineering environments.
- Solid understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and relevant Civil and Rail Infrastructure standards.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing as-built documentation and quality artefacts.
- Strong coordination, planning, and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to present to diverse audiences and resolve conflicts.
- Proven negotiation and influencing skills to achieve quality outcomes.
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
