The Role

Reporting to the Commercial Manager we are seeking a Commercial Project Administrator to join our team on a major building construction project based in Sydney.

This is a fulltime permanent position, perfect for someone who enjoys multitasking and takes pride in providing top-tier commercial  administrative and project support.

Responsibilities:

•    Ensure all staff time sheets for the project is submitted weekly and up to date.
•    Liaise with the corporate finance team as required for any discrepancies in cost recharges. 
•    Ensure that all costs are being allocated to the correct WBS/cost codes.
•    Review and reconciliation of monthly statements from Suppliers to ensure all accounts are up to date.
•    Ensure all Subcontractors insurances are up to date in the system in accordance with the Contract. 
•    Assist with weekly/month end financial duties and entry of data into online systems.
•    Support administrative reporting to the project team.
•    Raising Purchase Orders, matching dockets, receipting & processing of supplier invoices in SAP.
•    Ensure document control, filing system, records are effectively managed and organised.

About You

•    Previous site-based Commercial administration within the construction industry is preferred.
•    Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•    Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
•    Experience across MS Office applications and other software or systems.
•    Collaborative and motivated personality with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
