THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Project Development Manager to join our Strategy & Growth division, based in our Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne office.

Reporting to the Director Strategy & Growth, you will play a pivotal role in driving DTI’s growth strategy and take responsibility to lead and support all aspects of work winning

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying, reporting on, and coordinating our approach to a pipeline of infrastructure projects that aligns with our business strategy
  • Leading & facilitating the development of our approach to tendering specific projects for the purpose of increasing likelihood of success 
  • Market research, analytics & pipeline reporting 
  • Support targeted account planning activities 
  • Act as an ambassador of the Strategy & Growth (S&G) function into project teams as required
  • Coordinate inter-business activities that relate to the above items
  • Liaise with other market participants as required to support he above items (e.g.: suppliers, etc.)

ABOUT YOU

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business Administration, Strategy or related field
  • Proven experience in project development or business development within the construction industry, with a track record of successfully securing and delivering projects
  • Data analytics capability, e.g.: Advanced Microsoft Excel (or similar analytics platforms)
  • Management consulting experience (internal or external), or similar, is advantageous
  • Effective, concise communicator with experience in facilitating workshops and discussions with senior business leaders on strategic matters
  • Market research and data analytics (advanced) and the ability to effectively communicate the insights and strategic implications of this work to a broader cross-section of senior stakeholders
