The Role

We have a new opportunity for a Contracts Administrator to join a major Building Project in Sydney where you will be reporting to the Project Commercial Manager. 
Typical responsibilities will include, but not limited to,

• Ensure that all payment claims and invoices are assessed and processed in accordance with the Contract.
• Ensure compliance with the Securities of Payments Act (SOPA).
• Manage the procurement of Subcontractors, suppliers as well as overseeing key financial activities including cashflow, profit optimisation, variations, reporting and general administration.
• Effectively manage subcontract variations and contractual claims as required.
• Assist in month end project reporting and ensure deadlines are being met.
• Assist with Head Contract / Upstream administration

About You

• Proven experience working on large scale commercial building projects
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management/finance/law/engineering or related disciplines
• Ability to influence and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders across engineering, consulting, and construction environments
