The Role
We have a new opportunity for a Contracts Administrator to join a major Building Project in Sydney where you will be reporting to the Project Commercial Manager.
Typical responsibilities will include, but not limited to,
- Ensure that all payment claims and invoices are assessed and processed in accordance with the Contract.
- Ensure compliance with the Securities of Payments Act (SOPA).
- Manage the procurement of Subcontractors, suppliers as well as overseeing key financial activities including cashflow, profit optimisation, variations, reporting and general administration.
- Effectively manage subcontract variations and contractual claims as required.
- Assist in month end project reporting and ensure deadlines are being met.
- Assist with Head Contract / Upstream administration
About You
- Proven experience working on large scale commercial building projects
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management/finance/law/engineering or related disciplines
- Ability to influence and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders across engineering, consulting, and construction environments
