Reporting to the national Pre Contracts Manager, we are seeking an experienced and driven Bid Manager to join the DT Infrastructure pre contracts team, supporting opportunities across the roads and civil infrastructure sectors. This is a key role focused on delivering high-quality tender submissions while contributing to the ongoing success and reputation of the business.

As the Bid Manager, you will lead and coordinate the preparation of capability statements, expressions of interest (EOIs), and tender submissions. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver compelling, accurate, and competitive bids that position us strongly in the market.
This role offers the opportunity to influence strategic outcomes, implement innovative approaches, and drive continuous improvement in tendering processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end bid preparation and submission process across multiple opportunities
  • Ensure all tenders are delivered on time, accurately, and to a high standard
  • Develop innovative solutions and alternative methodologies to strengthen bid competitiveness
  • Coordinate the handover of tender and contract information to Project Managers
  • Capture and incorporate operational feedback on tender pricing to support continuous improvement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Ensure subcontractor and supplier engagement aligns with HSE standards, delivery consistency, and competitive pricing
  • Lead and manage contributions from cross-functional teams involved in bid preparation


About You


You are a highly organised and commercially minded professional with a strong background in bid or tender management within the civil infrastructure or construction industry. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Tertiary Qualified
  • Demonstrated experience in bid/tender management (roads or civil projects preferred)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to analyse and present pricing and strategic solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
