We are seeking an experienced and accomplished industry leader to fill a new role as the Health & Safety Administrator. This position will assist in the Programs, Systems and Initiatives space, reporting to DT Infrastructure’s National HSE Systems and Governance Manager based in Brisbane, QLD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the ongoing development and revision of the HSSE Management System.
  • Ensure the HSSE Management System practically supports the business operational needs, drives continuous improvement in performance and ensures compliance with all relevant regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • Reporting and dashboard development.
  • Plan and conduct independent internal inspections and audits to ensure compliance with the HSSE management system, contractual, regulatory, and legislative requirements.
  • Assist with the development of HSSE training for staff and subcontractors. 
  • Assist with HSE responses to tender questionnaires, schedules and key deliverables as requested by estimating bid teams.
  • Develop a strong working relationship with all levels of employees, clients, and relevant authorities.
  • Assist on sites in an ad hoc manner as required by company needs.

Skills & Abilities

  • Work, Health, Safety and/or Environment qualifications desired (or currently completing).
  • Initiative, motivated & self-driven
  • High level of attention to detail & administrative skills 
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with all levels of an organisation.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to use a wide variety of software applications
  • Knowledge of relevant HS accreditations, regulations, codes of practice, guidelines, and AS/ISO standards.
  • Internal Auditor qualifications (Desirable).
  • ICAM lead investigator (Desirable)
